CEREX 96-WELL Plates are constructed with 96 removable SPE columns and a separate Column Holder. Individual SPE columns snap into the 96-Well Column Holder allowing you to create a multi phase plate. This enables the analyst to rapidly screen multiple phases for selectivity and specificity in an assay. Once the method is optimized the plates can be configured to specific batch sizes eliminating waste.

Plates can be ordered pre assembled for maximum convenience. They are also available separately and provide added cost savings.
Cerex® 96 POLYMER SPE PLATES
  • PSCX, DVB/ Strong Cation Exchanger Copolymer, 20 micron, 300A. This material exhibits excellent selectivity for extracting basic drugs from biological fluids. Dual mode mechanism of extraction can be used to achieve an extract that is 95% protein free.
  • PSAX, DVB/ Strong Anion Exchanger Copolymer, 20 micron, 300A. This material exhibits excellent selectivity for extracting acidic drugs from biological fluids. Dual mode mechanism of extraction can be used to achieve ultra high purity extracts.
  • B-300,1000,10K, Brominated DVB polymer, 20 micron particle size, available in 300 A, 1000A and 10,000 A. Very useful sorbent for extracting analytes by hydrophobic interaction
  • CBA, Carboxylic Acid, 10 micron silica based, PKA 4.0

System® 96 PRESSURE PROCESSOR II
The System® 96 PRESSURE PROCESSOR II uses positive pressure for 96 well SPE plate processing. The processor produces the same flow rate in each of the 96 columns arrayed in the 8 x 12 micro-plate pattern. The flow rate is continuous, and response to flow rate adjustment is immediate.
  • Positive Pressure manifold provides uniform flow for all extraction steps.
  • All 96 positions are individually restricted to provide even pressure to each column. Even flow can be maintained if you are using one or all-96 positions.
  • Dual pressure regulators. Allows users to set 2 different pressures for extraction and column drying.
  • Uniform drying of extraction column bed is achieved by flowing nitrogen or air at 25 psi.

SPEware is now offering a Silicone Sealing Mat for the 96 well round and square plates. The Mat is made from a very high strength, low volatile premium grade GE silicone elastomer that includes a PTFE barrier. Additional advantages include:
